Contextually, the inability of a man to solve problems makes him poor. As long as you cannot solve problems for people or the problems of people, you remain poor. If you can is help people define a problem and proffer a lasting solution, you are out of poverty. Real wealth that makes a man out standing is in his capacity to solve problems for people. If you do not have the value such that you can help solve people’s problem, you are far away from money. Poverty becomes the lots of many when there is not the ability to solve the problems of people on their sides.
Notice the fact that the problem of one man is the prosperity of another. Once you can find it out and proffer solution, you are out of the race of poverty for ever. So, as long as there are people who unable to solve people’s in this life, there will be an increased number of the poor.
My challenge to you as you read through this treatise is to change your mind set and start finding people’s problems that you could help them solve. There are hundreds of thousands of problems in the world. In these hundred of thousands of problems lies money. Every problem in this regard has an equivalent amount of money embedded in it if it could be solve.
There are many problems in the world but I will mention but few of them. You could find time on your own to brainstorm so as to find out more of the existing problems. But be sure that the one you find is such that you could solve yourself or otherwise with the help of others so that there could be a share for you. Here are a few identified problems.
1. HEALTH PROBLEM: There are people who have acquire what could be called real money – they are billionaires but they still have the problem of good health. They have problems with their health. This could be in the form of sicknesses or diseases. There are innumerable diseases and sicknesses in the whole world. Once you can solve any of them, you are out of the pit of poverty. One of the concurrent health problems is HIV/AIDS. If you could help find a solution, you become rich automatically.
2. THE PROBLEM OF ACCOMMODATION: One of the predominant problems of man is housing. This is the problem of where would man live. This has ever been a predominant problem as long as man exists. But if you could help solve the problem, you become a millionaire forever without working. Even though you sleep and wake up without doing anything, your money keep flowing to you every month none-stop.
3. TRANSPORTATION PROBLEM: I like to share an experience of two people who just arrived from oversea and wanted to get to their different destinations. On arrival at the motor park, there was no vehicle on board and so the queue was stressful. One of the men said “this is why I do not like this nation….. how can we be in the sun for hours”. The other man thought to himself “this is a cool business, if I can get a few buses deployed to this area, I will fatten my purse”. It is alarming that this Nation of ours, good transportation system is a challenge and thereby becomes as problem. If you have the capacity to solve this prominent problem, you have successfully remove your name among the list of the poor.
4. THE PROBLEM OF FOOD: Food is one of the basic necessities of that man needs. When you take away the problem of hunger for food in a man’s life, you have removed about fifty percent of his total problems. As long as man lives, he will eat. I remember one of my boss’s adages. He said “A hungry man is an angry man”? You may not believe because it sounds funny. I heard the story of a man who saw the need of people in his society to be Garri (a cassava flakes common in Nigeria). All he would do is to go to the direct manufacturers and buy them in bulk to go sell them to his customers. He has been making his money. There are many people living with the problem of food, all you need do is to identify which one of the foods and find out if you could solve them.
5. THE PROBLEM OF CLOTHING: You will also agree with me that as long as man lives, he must wear clothes. There are people in this world we live in, who have money but do not have the time to go look for the type of clothing they want from the market place or boutiques. You could help them go to market and buy them and they will pay you in return. Not only do they need new clothing, too many people have enough and they do not have the time to really take care of them in terms of washing. They therefore have the problem of washing their cloths- need launderers. If you can also help solve this problem, your name is enrolled in the list of the graduating students from the University of Poverty.
6. THE PROBLEM OF EDUCATION: I have also found out that there rich people in the world we live in today and particularly in our Nation who have the problem education. They have money quite alright yet with the problem of education; there are owners of unquantifiable amount of money who do not know how to speak good English. If you could help them solve such problem you have unlock the door of your prosperity.
More so, some of their relatives also have problems related to education. In Lagos alone, I have heard of people earn money for helping the rich solve their educational problems. I knew of a woman who was employed to teach one member of the family French just because she wants to travel to a country where French is the official language. In this wise, parents also employ stewards who could help prepare their children for various kinds of examination.
7. THE PROBLEM OF ENERGY: One controversial issue usually debated upon in this Nation, is that of energy. Every body is canvassing for twenty four hours electricity supply. Of course, this will harness smooth business running at a low cost on energy. If you can identify and define a lasting solution to the problem of energy in the nation at large and our locality, you become a friend of money. There are a lot of machines used to generate energy. Somebody brought the idea of solar power energy generation. You could also discover yours. Find out by brainstorming how you could help solve individual, collective and national problem of energy. I could go on and to give or identify very many problems of individuals who really have money but pay for their solution if somebody could proffer solution to them. Like I said earlier on, do not believe the saying that there is no money.
There is money in every problem you would ever come across.
Once you can solve it, you extract money out of where it is hiding. As long as there are problems around you in your house, in your offices, schools, streets and lots more there is money.
